The THS8083 is a high-speed amplifier designed for broadband applications in communications systems, particularly in cable TV, satellite TV, and data communication. It features a high slew rate of 2600 V/μs, allowing for fast signal processing and high-speed operations. With a bandwidth of 700 MHz, the THS8083 is capable of handling high-frequency signals with low distortion and high linearity.The THS8083 operates on a supply voltage range of +6.5V to +15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply configurations. It offers a gain bandwidth product of 3.7 GHz, ensuring high gain at high frequencies. The amplifier also has a low input noise voltage of 2.2 nV/√Hz, making it suitable for low-noise applications.In addition, the THS8083 features a shutdown mode that allows for power saving when the amplifier is not in use. It also includes thermal shutdown protection to prevent overheating and ensure long-term reliability.
