It is designed to enable the connection of multiple DisplayPort sinks to a single DisplayPort source, allowing for the distribution of high-definition video and audio signals from one device to multiple displays.The SN65DP159RGZ supports DisplayPort 1.2a specifications, including High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 encryption for secure content transmission. It also provides support for up to 4K resolution at 60Hz, delivering crisp and clear visuals to connected displays.This integrated circuit features three input channels and two output channels, allowing for flexible configuration options for multi-display setups. It also includes built-in Equalization and Link Training capabilities to ensure optimal signal integrity and compatibility with various display devices.The SN65DP159RGZ operates on a single 3.3V power supply and is available in a compact 56-pin VQFN package, making it suitable for integration into a wide range of display applications, including monitors, projectors, and digital signage systems.
