The SI9945A is a high-voltage, high-speed, half-bridge MOSFET and IGBT gate driver IC that is commonly used in power electronics applications. It is designed to drive both the high-side and low-side switches in a half-bridge configuration. The SI9945A features a wide operating voltage range of 4.5V to 35V, making it suitable for a variety of power supply designs. It has a peak output current of 4A and a high-speed propagation delay of 35ns, allowing for fast switching speeds. The device is equipped with an integrated bootstrap diode and a charge pump, which simplifies the design of the gate drive circuit and reduces external component count. It also has an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) function to protect the power switches from operating at low voltage levels.The SI9945A comes in a compact 8-pin SOIC package, making it easy to integrate into a PCB layout. It is rated for operation over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, ensuring reliable performance in various environmental conditions.
