The ADS1298IPAGR belongs to the ADS129x family, renowned for its multi-channel, simultaneous sampling capabilities in 24-bit delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). This specific model is equipped with built-in programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs), an internal reference, and an onboard oscillator, catering to the demands of medical electrocardiogram (ECG) and electroencephalogram (EEG) applications.

Designed for exceptional performance and high integration, the ADS1298IPAGR facilitates the development of scalable medical instrumentation systems, significantly reducing size, power consumption, and overall costs. It features a per-channel flexible input multiplexer (mux) that can independently connect to internally-generated signals for testing, temperature monitoring, and lead-off detection. Moreover, it allows customization of input channel configurations for deriving the right leg drive (RLD) output signal.
