The TPS2051BDBV is a single-channel current-limited power-distribution switch designed to provide protection to systems against overcurrent conditions. This device operates within a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and has a low on-state resistance of 100mΩ. It can deliver a continuous output current of up to 2A, making it suitable for a variety of applications.The TPS2051BDBV features a programmable current-limit threshold that can be set between 0.5A to 2.9A through an external resistor. It also incorporates thermal shutdown protection to safeguard the device from overheating. The power-distribution switch is available in a small SOT-23 package, making it ideal for compact designs with limited space.
