TNY265 is a highly integrated off-line switcher IC (integrated circuit) developed by Power Integrations. It is a member of the company's TinySwitch-III family of products, known for their high efficiency, low standby power consumption, and thermal shutdown protection features.The TNY265 is specifically designed for use in low power applications such as chargers, adapters, and auxiliary power supplies. It operates from an input voltage range of 85 VAC to 265 VAC and provides an output power of up to 10 watts. The IC incorporates a self-biasing technology that eliminates the need for an auxiliary winding, reducing the overall system cost and complexity.Key features of the TNY265 include primary-side control, which simplifies the design by eliminating the need for optocouplers and secondary feedback circuits.
