The TDA7245 is a class AB dual audio amplifier integrated circuit (IC) designed for audio applications in car radio systems, Hi-Fi amplifiers, and mini component systems. It operates on a wide supply voltage range of 6V to 18V and has a maximum power output of 20W per channel with an 8-ohm load and 18V supply voltage.This IC features a high output power capability with low distortion and a low noise, making it suitable for high-quality audio amplification. It has built-in short-circuit and thermal protection circuits to prevent damage to the IC and connected speakers in case of a fault condition.The TDA7245 has a good channel separation of 45dB at 1 kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio of 66dB, and a total harmonic distortion of only 0.5% at 1W output power. It also has a standby feature that allows the amplifier to be turned off when not in use, reducing power consumption.The IC comes in a 9-lead single in-line package (SIP) and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
