Meet the TCAN1463DMTRQ1, a high-speed Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver that adheres to the physical layer requirements of the ISO 11898-2:2016 high-speed CAN specification and the CiA 601-4 SIC specification. Capable of supporting classical CAN and CAN FD (flexible data rate) data rates up to 8 Megabits per second (Mbps), this device excels in minimizing signal ringing and enabling enhanced throughput in complex network topologies. Thanks to its SIC feature, the TCAN1463DMTRQ1 empowers applications to fully exploit the advantages of CAN FD, offering operation at 2 Mbps, 5 Mbps, or higher in extensive networks with multiple unterminated stubs. Additionally, the device boasts pin compatibility with classical CAN FD transceivers such as TCAN1043A-Q1 or TCAN1043-Q1, provided the INH_MASK feature is not in use
