TA2008AN is a dual AM/FM radio receiver circuit in a 16-pin DIP package. It is designed specifically for radio receivers in portable stereo applications.This IC features a low supply voltage of 2.7V to 7V, making it suitable for battery-powered devices. The integrated circuit includes two AM sections and an FM section, allowing for dual-band radio reception. It also has an FM boost amplifier that provides improved sensitivity for FM reception.The TA2008AN includes an AM oscillator, mixer, IF amplifier, FM IF amplifier, FM detector, and AM detector circuits.
