The PCM1715U is a high-performance 18-bit stereo digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Texas Instruments. It features a dynamic range of 104 dB, a total harmonic distortion of -86 dB, and a sampling rate of up to 96 kHz. The device is designed to provide exceptional audio quality with low noise and distortion, making it ideal for a wide range of audio applications.The PCM1715U supports both left-justified and I²S data formats, allowing for easy integration into various digital audio systems. It also includes a built-in digital de-emphasis filter that automatically compensates for the high-frequency roll-off commonly found in digital audio recordings.The DAC operates from a single +5V power supply and consumes very low power, making it suitable for battery-operated devices as well.
