Texas Instruments' PCA9515AD is a dual bidirectional I2C bus and SMBus buffer designed to facilitate the connection of two buses operating at different voltage levels. With its wide operating voltage range of 0.8V to 5.5V on the low voltage side and 1.65V to 5.5V on the high voltage side, this versatile device is well-suited for a diverse range of applications. The PCA9515AD features two independent channels, each equipped with a voltage-level shifter that enables seamless communication between devices with disparate voltage requirements. Additionally, the device is equipped with a noise filter to enhance signal integrity and mitigate the risk of transmission errors. Furthermore, the PCA9515AD is capable of clock stretching, allowing it to slow down communication to accommodate slower devices on the bus, making it an essential component for systems with mixed-speed devices
