The MAX293CPA+ is a programmable analog filter that can provide low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, or band-stop filtering functions. It has a 4th order Butterworth filter with a tuning range from 0.1Hz to 100kHz. The device can be programmed through a serial interface and has a 16-bit data word that controls the frequency and Q-factor of the filter.The MAX293CPA+ operates on a single supply voltage ranging from +4.5V to +5.5V and consumes a low quiescent current of 1.5mA. It features a shutdown mode that reduces the current consumption to less than 10µA when not in use. The device also has an internal voltage reference and can be powered down to save power.The MAX293CPA+ is available in a 8-pin DIP package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is suitable for a wide range of signal processing applications requiring flexible and programmable filtering capabilities
