The MAX1307 is a 12-bit, serial-output analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an internal reference and temperature sensor. It is capable of converting analog input signals with a resolution of 12 bits, offering a conversion rate of up to 140k samples per second. The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.25V supply and is designed to consume minimal power, making it suitable for low-power applications.The MAX1307 features an onboard reference voltage of 2.5V, eliminating the need for an external precision reference. It also includes a temperature sensor with an accuracy of ±3°C, allowing for precise temperature measurement in addition to analog-to-digital conversion.The ADC communicates with a microcontroller or other digital circuitry via a high-speed 3-wire serial interface, making it easy to integrate into existing designs. The device offers 16 analog input channels, allowing for versatile signal processing capabilities.
