The M48Z35Y is a 5V, 32 Kbit (4K x 8) non-volatile static RAM (NVSRAM) with an integrated battery that provides backup power when the main power source is disconnected. It features a STMicroelectronics' patented NVSRAM technology, combining the benefits of both RAM and non-volatile memory.The M48Z35Y has a unique design that allows it to operate as a standard SRAM during normal usage, with fast read and write access times. However, in the event of a power loss, the integrated battery kicks in to retain the memory content for up to 10 years, ensuring data integrity and reliability.The device has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for use in various industrial and commercial applications. It also features a low standby current consumption of less than 1μA, extending the battery life and reducing overall power consumption.The M48Z35Y is packaged in a 28-pin DIP or SOIC package, providing flexibility for different PCB layouts and designs. It is fully compatible with industry-standard microcontrollers and interfaces, making it easy to integrate into existing systems.
