LMX2315 is a low power, high performance frequency synthesizer IC designed by Texas Instruments. It is a direct conversion/frequency synthesizer with integrated VCO and synthesizer, making it ideal for a wide range of applications including cellular base stations, point-to-point microwave radio, and defense communications systems.Some key features of the LMX2315 include a phase locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer with a wide frequency range of 50 MHz to 6 GHz, low phase noise performance, and a programmable output power level. It also includes an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with a frequency range of 1600 MHz to 3200 MHz, which provides flexibility in frequency planning and tuneability.In terms of performance, the LMX2315 offers excellent phase noise performance with a low noise floor, making it suitable for demanding communication systems that require high signal integrity. The device also features a high level of integration, reducing the need for external components and simplifying system design.
