The LM4915 is a mono audio power amplifier designed for use in portable audio applications such as smartphones, tablets, and portable media players. It is capable of delivering up to 0.6 watts of continuous output power into an 8 ohm load with less than 1% total harmonic distortion (THD) from a 3.6V power supply.The amplifier features a low-noise input stage with a fixed gain of 6dB, making it suitable for use with low-level audio sources such as microphones or line-level inputs. It also includes built-in thermal and short-circuit protection to ensure reliable operation under a variety of operating conditions.The LM4915 operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V, making it compatible with a variety of battery-powered devices. It features a shutdown mode that reduces power consumption to less than 0.01uA when not in use, helping to extend battery life in portable applications.
