The ISO7842DW is a state-of-the-art quad-channel digital isolator with an impressive 8000-VPK isolation voltage. This device is certified by VDE, CSA, CQC, and TUV, providing reinforced isolation and reliability for various applications. The isolator offers high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions, ensuring efficient performance with minimal power consumption. It is designed to isolate CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os, with each isolation channel featuring a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon-dioxide (SiO2) insulation barrier. Additionally, the device comes with enable pins that allow for high impedance outputs, making it suitable for multi-master driving applications and reducing power consumption. The ISO7842 device includes two forward and two reverse-direction channels, with the default output being high for the ISO7842 and low for the ISO7842F in the event of power or signal loss. When used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, this device helps prevent noise currents from interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. Its innovative chip design and layout enhance electromagnetic compatibility, making it easier to achieve system-level ESD, EFT, surge, and emissions compliance. Available in 16-pin SOIC wide-body (DW) and extra-wide body (DWW) packages, the ISO7842DW offers a versatile and reliable solution for digital isolation requirements
