The ISL6537 is a highly efficient, dual-channel synchronous buck DC/DC controller with integrated MOSFET drivers. It is designed for use in point-of-load (POL) power supplies in telecom, server, storage, and FPGA applications. The device operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and can provide a continuous output current of up to 20A per phase.The ISL6537 features a voltage mode control loop with fast transient response and excellent stability. It also offers programmable soft start, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown for robust system protection. The device can operate in PWM, PFM, or Diode Emulation mode to optimize efficiency in different load conditions.The integrated MOSFET drivers in the ISL6537 eliminate the need for external MOSFET drivers, reducing component count and system cost. The device also provides accurate current sensing and temperature monitoring to ensure reliable operation and thermal management.
