The ICM7207 is a low cost, high performance, single chip microprocessor controlled 4 1/2 digit A/D converter. It provides serial output data and interface to industry standard 8051 and 8022 microprocessors. The ICM7207 features a 8 channel multiplexer, 4 1/2 digit resolution, ±1 count of nonlinearity, and a maximum conversion time of 90ms. It has a 12-bit ad converter with a maximum conversion time of 90ms. It operates with a single power supply between 4.5V to 5.5V and consumes a typical current of 1.5mA.The ICM7207 includes a 12-bit A/D converter, 8-channel multiplexer and a 4 1/2 digit LED display driver. It also includes an internal oscillator with 50ms period clock, and an on-chip reference that can be disabled for external reference. The ICM7207 is available in a 28-pin PDIP package and is specified for operation over the -40˚C to +85˚C temperature range. It is commonly used in digital multimeters, data loggers, and other industrial applications that require high accuracy and resolution A/D conversion.
