The HV9120P-G is an advanced power supply controller that offers exceptional efficiency and performance. Its unique input circuit enables self-starting from high voltage inputs while maintaining galvanic isolation between input and output. With a ±2% internal bandgap reference, internal operational amplifier, high-speed comparator, and output buffer, this controller can produce rugged power supplies of 50W or more, achieving efficiencies exceeding 80% even at low output levels. The wide dynamic range of the controller system simplifies designs with wide line and load variations, resulting in higher efficiency. Additionally, the wide input voltage range allows for efficient utilization of energy stored in input dropout capacitors. The HV9120P-G also features remote on/off controls for convenient shutdown options, consuming minimal power during shutdown.
