HV57708PG is a high voltage, high current 32-channel serial to parallel converter designed specifically for driving vacuum fluorescent displays (VFDs). It operates from a 3.3V supply voltage and can control up to 32 outputs, with each output capable of sinking up to 80mA.The HV57708PG features a serial interface that allows easy interfacing with microcontrollers or other digital systems. It supports both serial and parallel data loading modes, making it versatile for different applications. It also includes built-in shift register register logic, enabling easy cascading for larger displays.The device supports grayscale dimming control, allowing for precise brightness adjustment of each channel. It also includes a power-saving feature that reduces the operating current by disabling unused output channels.The HV57708PG is housed in a compact, 56-pin TSSOP package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
