詳細說明
The EX-13EB is a through-beam optical sensor with a sensing distance of 19.685 inches (500mm). This sensor operates on the NPN open collector principle with a Dark-ON configuration. The through-beam optical sensor consists of two units - a transmitter and a receiver that are placed facing each other. When an object passes between the two units and interrupts the light beam, the sensor detects the presence of the object and triggers a response. The NPN open collector output configuration means that the sensor output is an open collector transistor that sinks current when activated. In the Dark-ON mode, the sensor output is activated or ON when the light beam is blocked, making it suitable for applications where objects obstructing the beam need to be detected. The EX-13EB is commonly used in industrial automation and control systems for tasks such as counting objects on a conveyor belt, detecting presence or absence of objects, and positioning tasks. Its long sensing distance of 19.685 inches (500mm) makes it suitable for applications requiring detection over relatively large distances.
