Operating on a wide single-supply range of +2.7V to +5.5V, the DAC902 is designed for low power consumption, making it suitable for portable and battery-operated systems. Additionally, it features a power-down mode for noncontinuous operation, consuming only 45mW in standby power. The integrated 1.24V bandgap reference and edge-triggered input latches offer a complete converter solution, catering to both +3V and +5V CMOS logic families. Users can further enhance flexibility by utilizing the on-chip reference or applying an external reference, with the ability to adjust the full-scale output current over a range of 2mA to 20mA using an external resistor while maintaining specified dynamic performance
