The APX823 is a voltage supervisor with manual reset input and watchdog timer in a small SOT-25 package. It monitors the power supply voltage level and provides a reset signal to the system microcontroller if the voltage falls below a predefined threshold. This helps ensure proper system operation and prevent damage to sensitive components in case of power supply fluctuations.The APX823 has a programmable threshold voltage which can be set from 1.6V to 5V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It also has a manual reset input pin for external system reset control, allowing for flexibility in system design. Additionally, the watchdog timer feature can be used to monitor the system operation and generate a reset signal if the microcontroller fails to toggle a specific output within a programmable time period.The APX823 operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, making it suitable for use in industrial and automotive applications. It has low quiescent current consumption of only 8µA, making it ideal for battery-powered devices.
