The ADRF6518 is a versatile, dual-channel, integrated mixer and modulator designed for use in a wide range of communications applications. It operates at frequencies ranging from 400 MHz to 6 GHz, making it suitable for a variety of cellular, wireless, and microwave systems. The device features two independent channels, each with a double-balanced mixer followed by an RF amplifier and a Σ-Δ modulator. This architecture allows for high linearity, low noise, and excellent dynamic range performance.The ADRF6518 is highly configurable, with programmable gain control and a flexible baseband interface that supports various modulation schemes, including QPSK, QAM, and OFDM. It also includes advanced features such as DC offset correction and crest factor reduction to optimize signal quality and reduce distortion. The device operates on a single 3.3 V supply and has a power consumption of 750 mW per channel.
