The ACS758LCB-050U is a fully integrated Hall effect-based linear current sensor IC that can measure AC or DC currents up to 50A. It is designed with a small footprint and provides high accuracy and reliability in a wide range of current sensing applications. The device features a low-resistance conductor pathway to minimize power loss and self-heating effects.The sensor uses a Hall effect magnetic field sensor to detect the magnetic field generated by the current passing through the conductor. The output signal is linearly proportional to the current passing through the sensor, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers or other control systems. The ACS758LCB-050U has an overcurrent fault output that can be used to signal when the measured current exceeds a set threshold.The sensor operates on a 5V supply voltage and has a sensitivity of 40mV/A, allowing for a maximum output voltage swing of ±2.5V when measuring 50A of current. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and can be used in harsh industrial environments. The ACS758LCB-050U is a versatile and reliable current sensor ideal for applications such as motor control, power management, and energy monitoring
