The 1SS398 is a high frequency epitaxial silicon NPN transistor designed for low noise amplification and oscillation in VHF/UHF range in RF applications. It features a maximum collector-base voltage of 20V, a collector current of 50mA, and a power dissipation of 50mW. The transistor is housed in a small SOT-23 package, making it suitable for compact and space-constrained circuit designs.With a low noise figure and high gain characteristics, the 1SS398 is well-suited for applications requiring high sensitivity and minimal signal distortion, such as RF receivers, transmitters, and low power amplifiers.
